Time Out NY
"I worked so hard in this class, I still felt wiped out four hours later. Or was that the feeling of fat cells being gobbled up by my raised metabolism? I hope so, because without physical benefits, I don’t know why anybody would put themselves through a Spinning class. The upbeat, driving music was perfectly coordinated with our sprints and recovery, and the instructor spouted motivational mantras throughout class, all of which kept me going way beyond what I would have thought I was capable of. But I’ll be happy if I never hear “stay with it, stay with it—riiide that hill” again."

"... The STUDIO has a cool vibe and is located in a landmark townhouse on 72nd street. The owner, James Park is renown for his challenging and fun Spinning classes at Equinox, Reebok, LA Sports & Zonehampton -- and he's taken his awesome Spin Classes (not to mention his great music and his hypnotic "voice-over" voice) and opened his own place with his partner, Trish Shiland (founder of Mom's Night Out & One Night Out). Spin Classes are taught 7 days a week and all levels are welcome -- they even make inexperienced riders feel lLance Armstrong! There also is a private training room and the personal attention and direction of their PT staff make for a well-rounded workout. " "... The STUDIO's philosophy is that we all need the cardio benefits of biking and the strength benefits of training -- thus their motto, "bike, train, live." All we know is that after all that sweating, we sure felt the stress a whole lot easier to take".

"You might think spinning is boring because you just sit and ride in the same place for 45 minutes. That's because you haven't rode with James Park! James' class was the first spinning class I've ever been to. And I've been hooked ever since then! His classes are intense. His music playlist is awesome! His workouts get you RESULTS! He will push you beyond your limits and give you the best workout... guaranteed! Definitely the best place to ride in New York! Located on the Upper East Side, the new space is intimate and inviting. The bikes are new and ride so smooth. And if you're in the mood for something different, James is also a personal trainer. His circuit training workouts will help shed those pesky pounds just in time for summer. But don't take my word for it, go check it out yourself!" Rosa A NYC

" (James) Park is known as having a voice like a DJ and a flair for catchy mantras that permeate his classes: “Don’t make it a thing” is his latest. The STUDIO is gorgeous, and if it wasn’t an exercise studio, you would want to live there. The space is sunny and overlooks East 72nd Street from the second floor....very cozy and Park seems to know everyone in his classes and treats them like family."

"... Every time I've gone, the classes were great ( not only the hardest--- but killer music). I've brought friends who don't spin... and they took the time to help them out.... so I definitely recommend for beginners or advanced riders. Best part---- they are cool... and no craziness or gym stress. James Park (the owner) is amazing and I swear, gives the best spin class in NYC."

"You should check out James Park's spinning studio on the UES. It's called The Studio and it's right on 72nd and Lexington... the place is awesome! The bikes are new and he takes meticulous care of them. He's a fabulous instructor and I guarantee you'll get the best workout you've ever had!"
