"When I walked into the Studio for my first class, I hadn't worked out
for two years. I was extremely overweight and sluggish. I was only
able to complete 25 minutes of that first class, but by that point
James had already inspired me to commit to myself, and to commit to
the bike.
Over the next six months I lost 75 pounds. I was able to build
strength, stamina, and most importantly I learned that I could push
myself far beyond the limits that I believed were there. People always
assume that I was on a strict diet, but for the first two months of
spinning, I didn't change my diet at all.
If I committed myself to getting to class, the weight came off.
Spinning at The STUDIO is so much more for me than the weight loss. It
has brought a synergy to my life. When I ride at the Studio - it's not
about my to-do list; it's about me being inspired to push myself.
James and Trish have really created an oasis in New York where once
you're inside those doors there are no limits you can't ride through.

"I've been riding at The Studio for nearly two years. The Studio has
great instructors, great music, and great energy. It also has
something not offered at other spin locations, a sense of "home".
At The Studio, there is no "factory" vibe, but a "welcome home" vibe.
Riders get to know each other and are supportive and encouraging. If
you miss a class, you are geniunely missed by the other riders and
warmly welcomed back at the next class. While advanced riders are
willing to assist beginning riders, all riders are expected to ride at
their best, ride stonger and harder. Excuses are not tolerated.
I've met my own goals riding at The Studio and have set new goals for
2010. Those goals, while high, don't seem as daunting when you ride
where everyone knows your name, where you can expect and receive
support and encouragement, and where you are expected to ride stronger
and harder. There's no other place like The STUDIO and I love it."
