Trish Shiland
Trish Shiland is a born & raised Upper Eastsider who has been a fitness enthusiast & athlete her whole life . After getting hooked on Spinning at the gym, she became a certified spinning instructor (much to the chagrin of her teenage daughter, Devon!). But her form, her abs & her pure love of spinning are an inspiration, on and off the bike.
She is a true entrepreneur. After Cornell, she started "Sweet Victory"(a lo-cal/lo-fat ice cream, cookies, candy retail franchise company), "Miniature Lifestyle Portraits", "Moms Night Out" & "One Night Out". Her latest venture, "The Studio", is a perfect combination of fitness & business.
When Tricia is not on the UES or Tribeca (her home with James), she is most likely spotted on the beach in St. Martin with her Maltese, Prancer.
Maggie Makovec
As a former college soccer player, fitness has always been important to Maggie. After 6 knee surgeries she was forced to find alternatives to her training. In 1998 Maggie began taking Spinning classes and quickly found them very rewarding.
After enjoying Spinning for years, Maggie became a certified Spinning instructor and started teaching in April, 2006. Her goal is to provide a high energy, well-rounded class that inspires people to keep fit and achieve their goals.
Outside of fitness, Maggie works in the financial industry doing Professional Development. As one of four children, she grew up in Wisconsin and enjoys spending her free time visiting family and friends.

Tori Watson
For Victoria Watson, fitness and the physical arts has been a lifelong passion. Growing up in the dance world, Victoria competed on a National level and choreographed for summer stock theatre, high school and college productions. She received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the Webster University Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis. Here, through a curriculum of dance, yoga, Pilates, meditation and the Alexander Technique, Victoria became well-versed in that physical vocabulary and became a believer in the importance of self-awareness in the physical, mental and spiritual components. After moving to New York City in 2006 and landing a variety of acting gigs around the city, Victoria took a shot at pursuing fitness as a side career by becoming a personal trainer at New York Sports Club, later finding a passion in Group Fitness as an Instructor. Through her education in her certifications, as well as from her theatre and dance backgrounds, Victoria continues to emphasize in her students the importance of self-awareness; to strengthen of the mind-body connection as a means to make a more effective journey in their fitness needs and goals, and to help them create a balance and efficient function in their everyday lives.
